Qwest Names James Campbell Arizona State President

DENVER -- Qwest Communications International Inc. (NYSE: Q) today announced that James "Jim" Campbell has been named state president for Arizona. Patrick Quinn, the current president in Arizona will retire after 31 years of service.

Campbell will report to Steve Davis, senior vice president of Public Policy, effective July 1.

Campbell comes from the firm Campbell Killin Brittan & Ray, LLC where he has served as a managing partner since 2001. Prior to that role, Campbell led a team at Qwest responsible for a wide range of legal and regulatory issues. He holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Santa Clara, and a law degree from the University of Denver.

Quinn joined Northwestern Bell in 1977 in the Finance organization. Prior to leading Qwest in Arizona, he served as vice president of policy and law, developing and implementing nationwide corporate policy and strategy.
