Equilar® Insight Products Achieve CODiE Finalist Status
Business Wire, June 12, 2008
REDWOOD SHORES, Calif. -- Equilar, the market leader for executive and director compensation benchmarking solutions, today announced that its Insight products are 2008 CODiE finalists. The CODiE Awards, sponsored by the Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA), is the only peer-recognition awards program of its kind in the industry. Equilar's Insight products were one of five software packages recognized in the "Best Human Resources Solution" category.
Through a unique combination of journalist and peer review, including over 250 judges from the trade press, consultants, educators, IT specialists and other knowledgeable but neutral experts, the annual CODiE Awards celebrate outstanding achievement and vision in the software, digital information and education technology industries.
This year, the Finalists were chosen from more than 1,000 nominations submitted by more than 600 companies. "It really shows how strong a product we have, to succeed against so many solid competitors," said Equilar CEO David Chun.
"We are honored to be a CODiE finalist," said Chun. "We have worked for many years to build a strong product to help our corporate clients with their executive compensation issues, so it's satisfying to be recognized for the value we have created for them."
The Insight products help compensation professionals instantly and accurately benchmark senior executive pay packages. Using Equilar's Insight products, clients can analyze individual elements of a senior executive's pay package including cash, equity compensation, equity ownership, and pay-for-performance details based on direct comparisons with a user-defined peer group of companies. Clients can readily benchmark these pay elements across all industries and market capitalizations with both survey and SEC filing data combined together to achieve the highest quality and most complete compensation data.
