St. Luke's Hospital & Health Network to Offer Electronic Benefits Enrollment with Benergy Portal by A.D.A.M
Business Wire, June 18, 2008
Hospital Employees Elect Benefits Electronically through A.D.A.M.'s 'Ready...Enroll Complete' Online Enrollment Solution
ATLANTA -- A.D.A.M., Inc. (NASDAQ: ADAM), a leading provider of high-quality health information and benefits technology solutions, today announced that St. Luke's Hospital & Health Network, based in Bethlehem, PA, has expanded its use of Benergy[TM], A.D.A.M.'s award-winning employee benefits and health management portal. St. Luke's has added Benergy's Ready...Enroll Complete feature to offer its 4,700 benefits-eligible employees around-the-clock access to compare and select their benefits throughout the year.
St. Luke's has relied on Benergy for benefits, health and wellness, and HR communications since the product's initial launch in 2001. Adding the product's online enrollment module, Ready...Enroll Complete, now enables the hospital to collect benefits election data electronically, instead of by paper forms, and more easily report on it and share such data with insurance carriers and its payroll system.
"We made the move to automating benefits enrollment and data management as part of our efforts to achieve our Network vision of making it easy to access our services," said Gloria Cuadrado, assistant vice president, human resources at St. Luke's Hospital & Health Network. "Ready...Enroll Complete lets our employees manage their benefits when it's convenient for them."
"St. Luke's adoption of Benergy's employee-friendly enrollment solution underscores A.D.A.M.'s sizable opportunity to help organizations reduce the costs associated with benefits processes while giving their employees valuable tools to make smart benefits and health decisions," said Kevin Noland, president and chief executive officer of A.D.A.M., Inc.
How Ready...Enroll Complete Works
A.D.A.M.'s Benergy solution offers St. Luke's employees online access to personalized information to manage many aspects of their lives, including benefits enrollment events. They can draw side-by-side comparisons of their benefit options and view details of each benefit to help them in making the right benefits choices. Employees update personal and dependent data, select the benefits they want and review a confirmation statement, all in one guided process. For the HR department, Ready...Enroll Complete reduces much of the time, expense and errors associated with facilitating annual open enrollment and enrollments caused by life event changes.
