WILLOUGHBY, Ohio -- Power-Pack continuous flow assembly lines integrate rapid product assembly with data capture to error-proof products for Lean, Six Sigma and other performance-based manufacturing initiatives. These lines consist of conveyor systems, customized product assembly fixtures or pallets, tooling support structures, and data capture and management tools. Each system is engineered to meet specific end user assembly and quality control criteria.

Assembly lines can be designed with a variety of stand-alone or integrated manual, robotic and automatic assembly operations. Conveyors can be slat type to handle permanent assembly fixtures, or chain-driven live roller type for fixture pallets with an integral pallet return.

Overhead tooling structures for these lines are designed to reduce floor space requirements while making air-, hydraulic- or electrical-powered and other assembly tools available at a comfortable working height. These structures can also include features such as Andon quality control, status CRT screens or other displays.

Continuous flow lines can include sensors to capture values such as fastener tightening torques, parts usage, assembly productivity. This data is captured for error proofing, inventory control, lot traceability, standards verification and workstation performance.
