iXLink® Introduces Price List Distribution Service

Business Wire,  June 2, 2008

Automatic Distribution of Price Lists Simplifies Selling Transactions Between Carriers

VIENNA, Va. -- iXLink, a business unit of Telarix, Inc., today announced it has introduced Price List Distribution, an electronic document management service for global service providers that automates the selling process for international wholesale voice.

The recent increase in interconnect agreements among other carriers and corresponding number of rate and dial-code change notifications sent and received each month has created additional financial risks for service providers. According to industry research firm Yankee Group, miscommunication arising from poor and/or lost data will collectively cost U.S. and European operators in excess of US$6 billion per year by 2010. In addition, today's manual processing of price lists is costing sellers revenue as their offers often sit in queues with hundreds of other seller offers waiting for validation and analysis by the buyer.

iXLink Price List Distribution is a powerful offer management and workflow solution which allows service providers to simplify and automate the sales processes within their wholesale interconnect business. The service manages the distribution of international hubbing and refile price lists by applying customized formatting and ensuring the automatic distribution of the price lists in XLS or CSV formats via email. Based on the configuration chosen by the seller, the price lists can be further enhanced with additional data including time band definitions, rounding rules, destination changes and rate change indicators.

The Price List Distribution service allows carriers to centrally manage their selling operations including buyer contact management, email management, transaction monitoring and notification. The flexible service also enables users to download contact information directly from the seller's CRM system, if desired. Finally, Price List Distribution logs all document exchanges and offers advanced reporting capabilities that provide users with a detailed view of each business transaction.

"The Price List Distribution service provides sellers with a powerful solution that reduces time to market and cost of sales associated with service providers wholesale operations as well as eliminates the potential for disputes," said Mark Hatam, Vice President of iXLink Product Development. "By simplifying the selling process, carriers can focus on high value business activities rather than manipulating and tracking the status of price lists."
