Nuance Communications Reports Inducement Grants under NASDAQ Marketplace Rule 4350

BURLINGTON, Mass. -- Nuance Communications, Inc. (NASDAQ:NUAN) today announced that on June 16, 2008, the compensation committee of the company's board of directors approved the grant of restricted stock units representing the right to acquire up to 228,750 shares of common stock to a total of 13 new employees of the company. The restricted stock units were granted as inducements material to employment in accordance with NASDAQ Marketplace Rule 4350(i)(l)(A)(iv).
