BNP Paribas Appoints Adam Brodnicki and Andrew Miller to Its Foreign Exchange Team in New York

NEW YORK -- BNP Paribas is pleased to announce the appointments of Adam Brodnicki and Andrew Miller as directors in the New York Fixed Income team. Both join from Bear Stearns and will cover institutional and hedge fund clients for FX, Rate and Structured Products as well as all Emerging Market products from across the BNP Paribas global platform, including the Middle East, Asia, Eastern Europe and Latin America.
Commenting on the appointment Garry Popofsky, head of FX and Emerging Markets distribution for North America said, "Adam and Andrew's skill-sets are a great fit for us. These appointments are a continuation of our commitment to expand BNP Paribas' distribution capabilities with the global product suite we offer."
Adam will be part of the Local Markets sales team where he will distribute global emerging market products to Institutional clients. While at Bear Stearns, he covered institutional clients for Local Emerging Markets. Prior to that, he held various positions in debt trading at Credit Lyonnais, Bank of America and ING Barings amongst others. He will report locally to Garry Popofsky.
Andrew will be part of the FX Sales team distributing all FX products focusing on currency options and derivatives to hedge fund clients. He was in charge of institutional client coverage for FX products at Bear Stearns and prior to that had spent 3 years with HSBC on the Institutional Sales desk and 10 years at Republic National Bank as a Foreign Exchange trader. Andrew will report to Cyrille Buisson, head of International Financial Institutions.
