Business Wire, June 24, 2008

Voice Becomes Strongest Link to Tie Networks and Applications

LONDON & ATLANTA -- SpinVox, the founder and global leader in Voice-to-Screen messaging, today announced the appointment of Todd Ferguson as senior director - Microsoft. Ferguson will be charged with driving the co-development of Microsoft unified communications and enterprise applications with SpinVox services.

"Voice is the most powerful form of messaging supported by the growing range of network types - wireless, landline, VoIP and now even social networks. The potential for SpinVox to connect converted voice content with new applications across a variety of platforms is exciting," says Christina Domecq, co-founder and CEO of SpinVox.

"Todd has a proven history of being able to facilitate integration of leading-edge Microsoft technology with services from companies like SpinVox for implementation in telecom and enterprise environments. This presents an enormous opportunity for our services to gain greater visibility and ultimately, mass market deployment."

Ferguson joins SpinVox from Gold Systems where he was the director of business development, sales and strategy - establishing global relationships with Microsoft Corporation, its partners and affiliates in the area of Speech and Unified Communications. Prior to that, he was the executive director of business development and sales for Intervoice where he led their efforts to penetrate markets on multiple continents.

Since 1984, Ferguson has held a series of positions with increasing responsibility at Teleconn Communications, Macrovoice, Octel Communications, Williams Communications Solutions and KPMG Consulting, where he established consulting relationships with wireless carriers and Fortune 1000 corporations.

In the first half of 2008, SpinVox has named two executives - Todd Woodstra and Brian Tyler who joined from Nuance - to lead its global Unified Communications initiatives, established a development relationship with Avaya and received $100 million in third round funding through Goldman Sachs.
