Business Wire, June 24, 2008
Ten companies excel with IT implementations that reap stellar returns
WELLESLEY, Mass. -- Nucleus Research, a leading global provider of IT research and advisory services, today announced the winners of the fifth annual Technology ROI Awards. The class of 2008 represents a diverse group of organizations, all demonstrating this year's most successful IT deployments matched with exceptional return on investment.
Nucleus Research carefully assessed the costs and business benefits of technology implementations for each applicant to quantify each project's ROI over a three-year period. The awards honor the top ten IT implementations, showing tremendous value per dollar spent, with ROI ranging from 386% up to 8,732%.
"ROI is like forensics - it's an exact science and the numbers don't lie. Our winners represent the very best in the industry, with compelling IT implementations that quickly realized multiple returns on investment," said Ian Campbell, CEO of Nucleus Research. "They've all clearly demonstrated what we call the 'Boomerang Effect' - a positive, bottom-line ROI for technology that has successfully met and exceeded defined business goals."
Out of a field of more than 200 applicants, the following end-user winners and associated technology vendors were chosen:
* American Lung Association for its deployment of Sage Software's MIP fund accounting application
