Business Wire, June 24, 2008
Maximizing the Pool of Quality Candidates with the New Shared Application Feature
RALEIGH, N.C. -- Peopleclick, Inc., the leading global talent acquisition solutions provider, and CareerBuilder.com, the nation's largest online job site, announced today at the Society of Human Resources Management Annual Conference and Exposition in Chicago, IL, a partnership to offer clients a streamlined application process through the new Shared Application feature. This latest feature is one of the several enhancements included in the upcoming release of Peopleclick RMS[TM] version 4.8, a key component of Peopleclick's Talent Acquisition Suite.
Through this partnership with CareerBuilder.com, Peopleclick will:
* Enhance the candidate experience by giving applicants the ability to use resume data from their CareerBuilder.com profile, or by simply uploading their resume, to pre-populate the Peopleclick job application
* Increase application completion rates, maximizing the volume of quality candidates that apply for a job
* Minimize frustration by eliminating redundant data entry for the candidate, decreasing the number of applicants that abandon the process
* Improve application quality by allowing job seekers to validate their resume information and modify data before submitting their application
"Through the CareerBuilder.com Shared Application feature, Peopleclick will offer clients the ability to provide a more efficient job application process by reducing the amount of information the candidate inputs when applying for a position," said Ginny Gomez, Peopleclick's Senior Vice President of Product Management and Marketing. "Peopleclick and CareerBuilder.com share the strategic vision of creating innovative and enhanced recruiting methods helping employers to obtain superior results."
"CareerBuilder.com and Peopleclick are providing employers with a better solution designed to make the recruitment process faster and more convenient," said Jennifer Seith, Director of Strategic Services at CareerBuilder.com. "Employers receive more relevant results in less time, which can make all the difference in a highly competitive recruitment environment."
The Shared Application feature is available through posting partnerships with CareerBuilder, eQuest, and TMP. To find out more about the new Shared Application feature, and other enhancements in Peopleclick RMS version 4.8, please visit www.peopleclick.com.
