Helix Electric Completes Electrical Contracting Project for Triangle Square Senior Apartments in Hollywood

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. -- Helix Electric, one of the largest open shop electrical contractors in the nation, has announced that it has completed the electrical subcontracting work for the Triangle Square Senior Apartments at 1602 N. Ivar Avenue in Hollywood, Calif.

Helix Electric provided the electrical package, including complete electrical distribution system, appliance and equipment hook-up, specialty lighting for the lounges and common areas, and the complete electrical finish and trim.

The Triangle Square Senior Apartments is the first of its kind specifically for LGBT seniors and was funded with local, state and federal assistance. The project was also a finalist in The Design Excellence Awards 2007, presented by Multi-Housing News. The four-story, 104-unit rental apartment complex features a 5,000-square-foot community and social services center.

The project team included: General Contractor, Coury Enterprises, Woodland Hills, CA; Design Architect, Van Tilburg, Banvard & Soderbergh, AIA; and the Owner, the Gay & Lesbian Elder Housing of Los Angeles.
