WG Security Products Inc. Announces Purchase of EAS Technology

SAN JOSE, Calif. -- In 1998, WG Security Products and EAS Sensorsense formed a joint venture to manufacture and market Electronic Article Surveillance products to the retail community. After 10 successful years of aggressive growth, the partnership has ended with WG Security Products purchasing all rights to the shared EAS technology from EAS Sensorsense. This acquisition was concluded on June 10, 2008.

Under the agreement, WG Security Products not only assumes rights to product, licenses, patents, inventory, and shared employees, but will also immediately begin to provide the same high level of service to mutual customers.
