SANTA CLARA, Calif. -- BroadLight, the leading supplier of GPON semiconductors and software, today announced that they have joined forces with AudioCodes, a leading provider of Voice over IP (VoIP) technologies and Voice Network products, to deliver high-performance VoIP solutions over GPON networks. By designing the AudioCodes' VoIPerfect[TM] engine to run seamlessly on BroadLight's BL2348 GPON Residential Gateway System-on-Chip, BroadLight will enable service providers to offer advanced VoIP services over high-bandwidth GPON networks.
