Denver Non-Profit Offers Educational Conference on Vascular Disease

DENVER -- The Vascular Disease Foundation (VDF) is hosting the first annual "Keeping in Circulation: Focus on Vascular Disease," a one-day educational conference geared towards patients and family members who want current information about vascular disease including peripheral arterial disease (PAD), carotid disease, deep vein thrombosis (DVT) and aneurysms.
The conference offers a day of educational sessions from local and national vascular disease specialists as well as lively discussions and networking opportunities within the vascular community. Session topics include the latest advances in vascular disease research and treatments, vascular disease's connection with other diseases such as heart disease, stroke, high blood pressure, cholesterol, and diabetes, as well as information and ideas for daily coping, exercise, diet and improving your life.
Featured speakers include vascular surgeon Omar Mubarak, M.D. from Presbyterian/St. Luke's Medical Center; Judy Regensteiner, Ph.D., Professor of Medicine University of Colorado at Denver and Health Sciences Center; Dominic Yee, M.D. from Radiology Imaging Associates, P.C. & Invision; and Michael Podolak, M.D., C.A.Q. in Vascular and Interventional Radiology from Diversified Radiology of Colorado, P.C.
