Ignite! Learning Awarded SMART Accreditation

Business Wire,  June 26, 2008

AUSTIN, Texas -- Ignite! Learning, Inc., a leading middle school classroom curriculum provider to more than 250 school districts, announced today that its Math and Science curriculum has been designated as "Ready" by SMART Board interactive solutions.

SMART accredits multimedia content and software applications based on their level of compatibility with SMART Board interactive whiteboards and Sympodium interactive pen displays. The "Ready" accreditation indicates that SMART has approved Ignite! Math and Ignite! Science for use with its products.

"The combination of Ignite! curriculum and SMART Board provides teachers with an additional level of interactivity in the classroom," said Alan Davis, President and CEO of Ignite! Learning. "Student engagement and confidence are increased, helping them to master skills and concepts in multiple contexts, leading to a deeper and better understanding of key concepts. Educators with interactive whiteboards in their classrooms can purchase the Ignite! curriculum with confidence, knowing that the solutions work seamlessly with SMART Board to enhance the learning experience for students."

Ignite! Learning is exhibiting at booth number 8032 during the National Education Computing Conference (NECC) June 29th through July 2nd in San Antonio, Texas. Visitors to the conference can stop by booth 8032 to experience in-person the powerful combination of the Ignite! curriculum and SMART Board.
