Industry Luminary Mark Leslie Joins Evergrid's Board of Directors

Evergrid Strengthens its Board of Directors with the Appointment of Founding Chairman and CEO of VERITAS Software

SANTA CLARA, Calif. -- Evergrid today announced that Mark Leslie, Managing Director of Leslie Ventures and founding Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of VERITAS Software, has joined the company's Board of Directors.

Leslie built VERITAS Software from a 12 person startup to a Fortune 1000 company with annual revenues of $1.5 billion dollars. Prior to its sale to Symantec, VERITAS was the tenth largest independent software company by revenue and third largest by market capitalization. Leslie is currently the managing director of Leslie Ventures, a private investment company, and a lecturer at the Stanford Graduate School of Business.

Leslie received a Bachelor of Arts degree in physics and mathematics from New York University and completed Harvard Business School's program for management development.
