KORE Receives 2008 Red Herring 100 North America Award

Business Wire, June 3, 2008

Company Recognized for Market Leadership Position, Experienced Management Team and Business Results

RESTON, Va. and TORONTO -- KORE Telematics, the world's largest digital wireless services provider specializing in machine-to-machine (M2M) communications, today announced that it has been named a 2008 Red Herring 100 North America Award winner. KORE was selected by Red Herring editors as one of North America's most innovative private technology companies from a pool of more than 800 submissions.

Red Herring 100 North America winners are selected based on an extensive list of criteria, including technology innovation, financial performance, quality of management, execution of strategy and business results. The 100 winners were announced at the 11th Annual Red Herring North America event. The Red Herring 100 has a long tradition of identifying some of the industry's most powerful technology companies, such as Google, eBay and Skype, in their early days.

KORE Telematics provides specialized, digital wireless network services operating over the extensive CDMA and GSM networks of its primary partners, Verizon Wireless and AT&T, that enable highly reliable and cost-effective information transfer between machines. M2M-based fleet management and logistics applications, for instance, rely on the KORE network to automatically transmit data such as vehicle speed, location, direction and temperature of the cargo hold to a central location. Other M2M examples include wireless meter reading in the utility industry, asset tracking, portable point of sale (POS) and the transmission of video from wireless security cameras.

"KORE has experienced tremendous success during the past 12 months and we are pleased to be recognized by Red Herring as one of North America's most innovative and successful private companies," said Alex Brisbourne, president and chief operating officer, KORE Telematics. "As a pioneer of the machine-to-machine communications market, KORE provides the industry's most reliable wireless network for powering applications that automate processes, improve physical security and reduce costs. We look forward to building on KORE's momentum in 2008 as more industries recognize the immediate benefits of M2M applications."
