New License Agreement to Accelerate Adobe Creative Suite 3 Proficiency in Schools
SALT LAKE CITY -- Certiport today announced the availability of new Adobe Certified Associate exams for Adobe[R] Creative Suite[R] 3 through a new classroom license agreement that provides high schools, community colleges and other higher education institutions unlimited access to exams and preparation materials. With increasing demand for digital communications at school and work, verifiable skills for Adobe software are on the rise. The new purchase option is designed to help educators bolster the overall number of students who can demonstrate digital communications proficiency through certification.
"The new Adobe Certified Associate classroom license is a perfect complement to the affordable set of Creative Suite 3 licenses available to students, faculty and administrators," said Peter Isaacson, vice president of education marketing at Adobe Systems. "Combined with the curriculum tracks for educators, students now have a pathway of tools to provide them with a base-level validation of skills they need as an entry into a digital communications-based career."
Under the new license agreement available through the Adobe education reseller channel, schools and colleges can have unlimited access to Adobe Certified Associate preparation materials and exams for one year within a designated classroom.
"We are witnessing a change in the way students can connect to the world," said David Saedi, president and CEO of Certiport. "Educators must have access to standards and credentials that will help ensure students have the skills they need to build the Web, rich media and other digital communications content they aspire to create."
Certiport also launched Visual Communication using Adobe Photoshop[R] CS3 and Rich Media Communication using Adobe Flash[R] CS3 as the first exams to be available through the license option. Subsequent exam releases in the coming months will include a Web Communication module for Adobe Dreamweaver[R] CS3 and non-English versions of the exams.
