SouthPeak Interactive Corporation Deploys Digital Distribution Strategy with Launch of 'Roogoo' on Microsoft's Xbox LIVE Arcade

Business Wire, June 4, 2008

MIDLOTHIAN, Va. -- SouthPeak Interactive Corporation (OTC Bulletin Board: GSPA; GSPAW; GSPAZ) today announced its first digitally distributed game with the release of Roogoo on Xbox LIVE([R])Arcade for the Xbox 360[R] video game and entertainment system from Microsoft.

"We look to digital distribution as a new opportunity that will contribute to both top and bottom line growth," said Melanie Mroz, CEO of SouthPeak. "The company is looking at other revenue opportunities in the digital space. It's a very attractive marketplace that allows us to deploy a broad range of games to a new customer base."

As the last remaining Roogoo, your mission is to collect meteors by rotating platforms in this extremely addictive, original, fast-paced puzzler. In the game, players must turn platforms in order to align falling blocks with the correct shapes. However, with every level you conquer comes a new set of obstacles even more treacherous than the last. New shapes will appear along with other challenges like evil Meemoos blocking platforms, shapes traveling up rather than down, and even more fun and exciting trials.

Developed by SpiderMonk Entertainment, Roogoo features five creative worlds, loaded with over 45 frenzied puzzles. Play four-player co-op in Party Play and finish levels jointly with friends, or compete against each other head to head over Xbox LIVE in Race mode. Race to correctly pair blocks and shapes to get combos while filling up your combo bar to attack your opponent's platforms with hungry Meemoos. Every mistake you make will add damage to your health bar; receive enough damage and your opponent will be victorious.

Roogoo has a free demo available now, and the full game can be purchased for 800 Microsoft points. For more visit www.southpeakgames.com.
