Peachtree Hires Vice President of Capital Markets

BOYNTON BEACH, Fla. -- Peach Holdings, Inc. ("Peachtree") announces the addition of Nicola Barrett as Vice President to its Capital Markets team. Prior to joining Peachtree, Nicola was an Actuary in the Financial Institutions Solutions Group in the New York branch of ABN AMRO, a Dutch investment bank. She focused on projects involving capital market solutions to insurance-related risks such as securitizations, life settlements and derivatives with a mortality component. Prior to joining ABN AMRO, Ms. Barrett worked at MetLife, PricewaterhouseCoopers and Prudential. She also spent seven years at Milliman, an actuarial consulting firm in New York working primarily on asset adequacy analysis and demutualizations.
Before becoming an actuary, Ms. Barrett worked at BellSouth in Atlanta for seven years as a Systems Analyst. She graduated twice from Georgia State University - once in 1988 with a BBA in Decision Sciences, and again in 1995 with a Masters in Actuarial Science. She is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries.
