OSHA 10 Hour Construction Course Now Available Online Through RedVector
Business Wire, June 9, 2008
TAMPA, Fla. -- RedVector.com, Inc., the leader in online education for the architectural, engineering, and construction (A/E/C) industries, announces the release of its online OSHA 10 Hour Construction Program. OSHA has accepted the program and students who complete the RedVector course will receive an OSHA Student Completion card.
RedVector's OSHA 10 course is designed for construction workers, job supervisors, trade workers and anyone involved in the construction industry. The course launch comes at a time when a growing number of states, project owners and general contractors are requiring workers to have the OSHA 10 course as a condition of working on specific projects.
Victoria Zambito, Vice President of Content Development, says, "We have been developing courses for the construction industry since 2000 and therefore bring a unique perspective to the course design. Our experience and complete focus working within this space has provided us with a keen understanding of the specific educational needs of the construction worker."
The OSHA 10 Hour Construction Program is available on the RedVector website (www.RedVector.com/osha10/) for a special introductory price of $99 through July 31st. The program will return to its regular price of $149 on August 1st.
The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) recommends Outreach Training Program Courses as an orientation to safety and health for workers. And while workers may need additional training based on OSHA standards and the specific hazards of their jobs, RedVector's OSHA-online 10 Hour Construction Industry Outreach Training program can help inject entry-level workers with critical knowledge on a variety of OSHA-regulated safety and health topics. Topics covered include electrical safety, fall protection, crane safety, and more.
RedVector now offers over 1,000 online courses with more than 130 hours of safety courses.
