Vital Log Information from Top Layer's Award-Winning IPS 5500 Now Managed in Synch with Data From Other Essential Security Devices through Tenable's Log Correlation Engine to Provide Greater Security Event Management
WESTBOROUGH, Mass. & COLUMBIA, Md. -- Top Layer, a global leader for high performance intrusion prevention solutions, and Tenable Network Security, the leader in unified security monitoring, today announced a joint partnership to provide customers with cross-network security awareness by correlating security event data between Top Layer's IPS 5500 intrusion prevention solutions and additional security devices across an organization as a part of a defense-in-depth strategy. The available integration is the synching of the vital network intrusion data log from Top Layer's IPS 5500 with the logs of fundamental security data from servers, firewalls, applications and more through Tenable's Log Correlation Engine.
