Business Wire, March 10, 2008
SAN ANTONIO -- Digital Defense, Inc. The enhancement within this release consists of an additional topical course entitled Vishing, which is one of the latest fraud tactics employed by unscrupulous perpetrators. The Security TEAM LMS enables organizations to provide their online patrons with basic security education to avoid cyber-threats. "We are always delighted to see the progression within TEAM system," remarked Lawrence J. Miggler, Senior Vice President, Information Systems at Postal Credit Union (PCU). We have maintained an ongoing relationship with DDI because they continue to prove their commitment not only to PCU but also to all their clients through their continuing investment in the enhancement of their services and delivery strategies."
"It is important to DDI to continue evolving not only our core services, but the TEAM LMS as well due to the altruistic character of this particular offering. Hurtado, president and CEO of Digital Defense. "Our clients indicate to us that making educational opportunities on security and identity theft available to their online patrons is very important to them. By keeping our TEAM LMS up-to-date with relevant courseware, we are trying our best to respond to our clients' needs and desires."
Digital Defense delivers the TEAM LMS content in both English and Spanish via a toggling feature in order to attain applicability to a greater number of online patrons. TEAM consists of thirteen other courses, associated tests, and completion certificates on the following topics: Online Fraud, Passwords, Online Shopping, Viruses/Worms, Trojans & Spyware, Home Firewalls, Securing Home Computers, Secure Transactions Away from Home, Online Banking Myths, Child Safety Online, ATM & Debit Card Misuse, Wireless Security and Keylogging, in addition to the new Vishing course.
