BOTHELL, Wash. -- Winshuttle Inc., a provider of user-empowered data shuttling software for use with SAP[R] Business Suite applications, announced that the company has signed a strategic alliance with Capgemini, one of the world's foremost providers of consulting, technology and outsourcing services. Under the terms of the agreement, Capgemini will utilize transactionSHUTTLE, an application that automates the shuttling of information between Microsoft Excel or Access and the SAP Business Suite, without any programming, script creation or IT support, in order to improve the efficiency of data migration for clients implementing SAP applications in North America.

transactionSHUTTLE transforms business processes by giving business users the ability to shuttle data to and from any SAP transaction or business process. Business users can deploy transactionSHUTTLE to perform data migration necessitated by a technology event, along with recurring data creation, maintenance and synchronization in response to business events for data changes en mass. Since there is no programming required, Winshuttle customers can redeploy scarce IT resources to attend to other strategic initiatives. Information workers can transform business processes, allowing them to become stewards of their own data, and can easily transport Excel-Access data into the SAP Business Suite throughout the enterprise.
"We have been impressed with the amount of time we have saved by utilizing transactionSHUTTLE in our SAP implementation applications," said Brad Little, vice president of SAP Services for Capgemini. "With transactionSHUTTLE we have reduced the amount of time it takes to load data into SAP saving our clients significant costs and helping them to reach implementation milestones at a faster pace. Furthermore, our alliance agreement with Winshuttle supports our commitment to helping companies automate transactional processes and redeploy IT resources for strategic purposes."
"This strategic alliance with Capgemini is an important milestone for Winshuttle," said Rajat Oberoi, chief operations officer and co-principal of Winshuttle. "We look forward to working with such a well respected leader."
