Cleveland Banner and Displays Company Expands with Purchase of New Headquarters Building; Company Wins Sherwin-Williams, Floor Covering International and Life Line Screening Accounts

Business Wire, March 12, 2008

VALLEY VIEW, Ohio -- Post Up Stand Inc., a trade show and retail graphics company based in Valley View, announced that it will be expanding to new headquarters partly in response to winning new national accounts. New accounts include Sherwin-Williams, Floor Covering International and Life Line Screening of America.

The new headquarters in Maple Heights, OH, will give it additional space to handle growth from new local and national accounts. The company has grown from its original two employees in 2004 to the point where company founders expect it will employ 35 people by year-end. While the company markets extensively online as its primary sales channel, the company produces its own graphic designs and large format displays graphics here in its Valley View facility.

"We've built the business primarily through Internet-based marketing as well as word of mouth," explained company vice president Ram Tamir. "We've always found it ironic that companies around the country find us on search engines and rely on us as a valued partner, while many in Northeast Ohio became aware of us only in the last year. Sherwin-Williams, for instance, was particularly pleased to learn that we were located just around the corner."

Post Up Stand provides vinyl and laminated retractable banners, tabletop displays, scrolling banners, and other graphic solutions for retail and trade shows. Its products are versatile, lightweight and easy to ship or carry on flights. Post Up Stand serves thousands of large and small retailers and marketers in the United States and Canada, including Greg Norman, Best Western, United Way, 3M, Progressive, Summit Auto Racing, and Life Line Screening. For example, Life Line Screening uses retractable banner stands created by Post Up Stand in each of their thousands screening events around the country.

The company's new headquarters is a 25,000-square foot facility located in Maple Heights, a significant expansion from the existing 11,000-square feet it occupies now in Valley View. Tamir said the company determined that Northeast Ohio was a good location to found the business and committed to remain here when shopping for a new headquarters facility.

"For a graphics and printing company, Cleveland has a lot to offer with a very large skilled base of workers from many printing companies in the area," said Tamir. "As the graphics industry has shifted from printing to new forms of advertising such as ours, we're finding many of our new hires bring to us printing expertise that is very valuable to us as a fast-growing company. In addition, being so centrally located to the vast majority of the country puts us close to our customers and reduces shipping costs to them. It's a good place for us to grow."

Tamir said his company will also use the additional space to support a new product line being launched during 2008. Post Up Stand will begin producing outdoor banners and signage as a complement to what its customers purchase for interior use.

"We developed this new line as a direct result of customer suggestions," Tamir explained. "Some times, the best ideas are those your customers bring to you, and we were quick to act on it."
