NextiraOne Federal D/B/A Black Box Network Services Wins U.S. Army I3MP IMOD Award for Ft. Bragg, NC

HERNDON, Va. -- Black Box Network Services today announced that they have been awarded the U.S. Army I3MP Infrastructure Modernization (IMOD) project for Ft. Bragg, NC.

The multi-million dollar contract, awarded February 29, 2008, will have an initial base value of approximately $28 million with future aggregate options which could increase the award up to a total of $58 million. The period of performance for this project is four years. The U.S. Army Ft. Bragg IMOD project was awarded and is managed by the U.S. Army Product Manager for Defense Communications Systems - CONUS (PdM DCS-C) at Ft. Monmouth, NJ. The contract will upgrade, expand and refresh telecommunication technologies and solutions at Ft. Bragg providing improved communications for U.S. Army soldiers and civilians located there.

Black Box Network Services will be responsible to Engineer, Furnish, Install, Test and Secure (EFIT&S) an integrated telecommunications infrastructure consisting of multiple vendor platforms including communication facilities, power systems, inside and outside plant infrastructure, IP network systems and Optical transport systems for Ft. Bragg under the direction of PdM DCS-C.
