Veraz Networks Joins GSM Association

Network Interconnection and IMS Application Expertise to Help Wireless Carriers Enhance Revenue Generation

SAN JOSE, Calif. -- Veraz Networks, Inc. (NASDAQ:VRAZ), a leading global provider of IMS-based solutions, today announced that it has become an associate member of the GSM Association (GSMA). Veraz brings its expertise in IMS-based network solutions to partner with fellow GSMA members and further enhance the ability of wireless carriers to generate new revenue and business opportunities.

Wireless operators today are looking to IMS to efficiently offer new and enhanced services across their various generations of networks. With Veraz's IMS-based product portfolio -- the Controlswitch[TM], the Multimedia Service Delivery Platform, and the Multi-Media Optimization Platform--Veraz is enabling new service creation and network cost reductions in 32 wireless carriers to date. Transit solutions for optimal routing to increase revenue assurance, applications delivery, IP interconnection to wholesale carriers, and service creation platform integration are all examples of Veraz IMS-based solutions. As part of its Multi-Media Optimization platform, Veraz also offers the I-Gate 4000, an industry-leading bandwidth optimization product delivering voice enhancement features for wireless applications.
