JED Oil Inc. Announces Note Redemption Extension

DIDSBURY, Alberta -- JED Oil Inc. (AMEX: JDO) ("JED" or the "Company") today announced that it has received another extension of the redemption date of its $40.24 million principal amount of 10% Senior Subordinated Convertible Notes ("Notes"), from March 20 to March 24, 2008. The purpose of the latest extension is to finalize terms with the holders of the Notes for a longer extension for the completion of financing and repayment of the Notes.
