ALM's Real Estate Media Launches New Green Building Section on GlobeSt.com

NEW YORK -- ALM's Real Estate Media Division, a leader in news and information for the commercial real estate industry, has launched a new online section focused on sustainable commercial real estate issues. The page, located on GlobeSt.com (www.GlobeSt.com/green), will serve as a central online hub for all coverage of green issues and information available throughout REM's network of print, online and event properties. The new page is part of the ongoing series of sections and features that have been added to GlobeSt.com since January.
Today's launch of the section will feature a special online Webinar, "The Business Case for Green" at 12:30 PM ET. The free event, moderated by John Salustri, executive editor of GlobeSt.com, will feature an interactive discussion of green issues by industry leaders, including Larry Heard, president & CEO, Transwestern; Victoria Kahn, managing director, ING Clarion; Jim Lutz, senior vice president of development, Liberty Property Trust; Brenna Walraven, chairman, BOMA International and executive managing director, national property management for USAA; and Dan Young-Dixon, director of design, Opus Architects & Engineers, Inc. The panel will discuss balancing the "need for green" with the bottom-line financial responsibilities faced by industry executives.
