HealthLink Europe expands its customer service and logistical support offerings to Transoma Medical
Business Wire, March 26, 2008
RALEIGH, N.C., & TILBURG, Netherlands -- HealthLink Europe, an ISO 13485 Medical Device Support Services and Distribution Company that has been providing European customer service and logistics support to the North American device industry since 1994, announced today that it has expanded its customer service and logistical support services relationship with Transoma Medical on behalf of its DSI (Data Sciences International) division, whose customers are research labs that can be found in academic and government institutes and nearly every major pharmaceutical company.
"Our relationship has evolved," said Kristi Lloyd, Logistics Manager for Transoma Medical, which is pioneering technologies that are transforming how physicians gather cardio, vascular and other vital patient data in real-time. "In the beginning, we were sending HealthLink a small amount of inventory and directions with what to do with it, and they would fulfill the orders and ship the products. But with our expanded relationship, HealthLink is now providing us with a full complement of customer service/sales-and-marketing support functions. For example, HealthLink manages our European orders, talks to our customers, facilitates returning product from our European customers, and invoices our customers. In fact, HealthLink is our fiscal representative in Europe. No doubt, they are a key service-supplier to us. Our European customers tell us frequently how much they appreciate our European presence and expanded services we are able to provide them, seamlessly, through HealthLink Europe."
"Knowing that their products and customers are being cared for at the highest standards possible gives Transoma Medical peace of mind," added Richard ("Rick") Hughes, President of HealthLink Europe.
