Kathy Dickerson Joins NetStar-1 as Vice President of Human Resources

ROCKVILLE, Md. -- NetStar-1, Inc. today announced that Kathy Dickerson has joined the company as vice president of human resources. Reporting directly to NetStar-1's chief executive officer, Dickerson will be responsible for managing employee recruitment, retention and training programs, as well as overseeing compensation, benefits and retirement savings plans.

Over the past two decades, Dickerson has held senior human resources positions in a variety of industries, including information technology, biotechnology, and hospitality. Prior to joining NetStar-1, she held the positions of sr. vice president of human resources with webMethods, Inc. and Net2000 Communications, Inc.; vice president of human resources and administration with BioReliance, Inc. and GEN International, Inc.; and director of training and development for Marriott Corporation.

Dickerson received her B.S. and M.A. degrees in secondary education from Ball State University. Her many certifications include studying with Dr. Edwards Deming, Stephen Covey, and the Tom Peters organization, specializing in total quality management, change management, and organizational leadership. Kathy is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management.
