Montecito Fine Arts College of Design Launches Montecito Fine Arts Children's Center
Business Wire, March 31, 2008
ARCADIA, Calif. -- Montecito Fine Arts College of Design hosted a grand opening ceremony for its newly launched children's center. The inaugural ceremony of the Montecito Fine Arts Children's Center was widely successful, with over 200 children and parents in attendance. The event was covered by various media outlets, including radio stations and television stations from various parts of the Greater Los Angeles area.
"I am delighted to announce the opening of Montecito Fine Arts Children's Center. At the MFA Children's center, we are offering courses that are designed to follow structured sequential curriculum where the children learn the skills necessary to gradually transition to more advanced portfolio programs at our main campus in Monrovia," said Ed Kuckelkorn, President of Montecito Fine Arts College of Design.
Kuckelkorn further added, "Our mission is to offer comprehensive programs that are specifically designed for the complete development of the child's mind. Based on research from the science of learning, it is clear that the early development of the creative half of the human brain is essential to the full development of the human mind. In the twenty-first century, when the number of creative knowledge workers exceeds 75% of the total workforce, the children who do not develop creatively early on will lag behind intellectually in college and will be less effective and productive at the workplace."
