DSC Logistics Names David Copeland as Vice President, Corporate Controller

Copeland to Support DSC Growth

CHICAGO -- DSC Logistics, an integrated logistics and supply chain management company, headquartered in Des Plaines, Illinois, has named David Copeland as vice president, corporate controller. Copeland brings extensive financial and accounting experience, and will play a critical leadership role in building an enterprise-wide, operationally excellent accounting and control environment to support DSC's growth. He will build on the solid foundation already established within DSC's financial functions, both in the field and at Corporate, to institute and drive continual improvement efforts in accounting and financial management processes.

Copeland's career history reflects his knowledge and expertise in complex accounting areas and improving control measures and processes. He will use his experience to enhance and improve DSC's financial practices and functions. Copeland comes to DSC from Equity Office Properties Trust, where was he was market controller responsible for fixed assets, revenue accounting and technical accounting areas. Prior to Equity Office Properties, David was the assistant comptroller for the Chicago Housing Authority, managing the General Accounting, Financial Reporting, Payroll and Risk Management departments. Before CHA, David worked as a business teacher and economic development volunteer for the United States Peace Corps in the former Soviet republic of Kazakhstan and was an accounting manager for Crate & Barrel and a senior auditor for Deloitte & Touche.

David received his Bachelor of Science degree in Accountancy with High Honors at the University of Illinois, Champaign, and is a Certified Public Accountant.
