HiNet Deploys T-series to Increase Service Velocity and Enhance User Experience
SUNNYVALE, Calif. -- Juniper Networks, Inc. (NASDAQ:JNPR), the leader in high-performance networking, today announced that HiNet, a Taiwanese Internet service provider (ISP) wholly-owned by Chunghwa Telecom, has expanded the capacity of its GigaPOPs with multiple Juniper T640 core routers. HiNet's GigaPOPs are ultra-high performance points of presence supporting advanced IP traffic across the entire HiNet network. The T-series will enable HiNet to support increased demand, and deliver an enhanced user experience for a range of quality, secure and scalable services.
"HiNet has enhanced its core capacity to support growing customer demand for its innovative services such as voice over IP, high-speed internet access and e-Learning services," said Eric Lin, general manager, Taiwan, Juniper Networks.
