Stratecast estimates Telcordia holds 25 percent of $1.174 billion fulfillment market
PISCATAWAY, N.J. -- Telcordia continues to lead the $1.174 billion global fulfillment market, according to a recent report from industry analyst firm Stratecast, a division of Frost and Sullivan. Stratecast's latest report estimates the company holds 25 percent market share - nearly double that of its nearest competitor.
The new findings from Stratecast echo reports from other firms including IDC and OSS Observer that name Telcordia, the global leader in the development of IP, wireline, and mobile telecommunications software and services, as the fulfillment market leader. The Telcordia Fulfillment Suite is respected as the leading next gen OSS service fulfillment, integrated inventory, provisioning automation, fallout resolution and number management solution in the market.
"With 20 percent year-over-year growth in fulfillment revenues, Telcordia widely outdistances its closest competitor," said Nancee Ruzicka, Senior Research Analyst, Stratecast. "Sustained growth in this market is anticipated due to both large communications service provider OSS/BSS transformation projects and the need for extended and alternative fulfillment solutions to meet the need to expand offerings in a hyper-competitive services market."
In the March report, "The Changing Face of Fulfillment: Integrated Fulfillment Solutions," Stratecast notes that it expects Telcordia to continue to strengthen its dominance of the fulfillment marketplace, encompassing the order management, service provisioning and activation and inventory disciplines. It acknowledged the Telcordia managed evolution approach that enables communications service providers (CSPs) to migrate from legacy to next generation networks.
Integrating fulfillment across multiple services and platforms is a vital part of the managed evolution process that CSPs are undergoing in order to leverage their existing network investment while building out new IT-based infrastructure to meet the growing demand for advanced services. Telcordia works with global tier 1 CSPs to create a managed evolution strategy that helps them move to Next Generation OSS in a prudent, low-risk, highly efficient way.
"Telcordia helps communications service providers achieve superior business performance as they continuously extend and advance their networks, service offerings and business models, in pursuit of differentiation, growth and profit," said Michael Anderson, President, Global Solutions, Telcordia. "CSPs around the world recognize Telcordia as the innovative leader in next gen fulfillment solutions, and rely on Telcordia's unique ability to help them effectively evolve their business to support new and existing services."
Telcordia is exceptionally well-positioned to meet this need. The Telcordia Fulfillment Suite is the most flexible, proven provisioning and order management solution in the market. Telcordia has also been recognized as the global service fulfillment market leader by industry analyst firms OSS Observer and IDC .
