Avnet Named Supplier of the Year by National Instruments

PHOENIX -- Avnet Electronics Marketing, an operating group of Avnet, Inc. (NYSE: AVT), and its specialized Avnet United division, have received the Supplier of the Year Award from National Instruments. The award recognizes Avnet's overall performance as a supplier during the 2007 calendar year.
In addition to overall performance, Avnet also made a significant impact as a supplier for National Instruments in four key areas: quality of parts provided; lead time and on-time delivery; pricing - including cost savings and payment terms; and customer service.
