Windsor Hospitality Group's Donna Keffer Wins Embassy Suites 2007 Director of Sales of the Year Award

Business Wire, May 13, 2008

DENVER -- Everyone in Windsor Hospitality Group and its parent company, Windsor Capital Group, proudly congratulates Donna Keffer at their Embassy Suites Denver Southeast for winning the brand's 2007 Director of Sales of the Year Award. After increasing the property's revenue per available room by over 60 percent in 2007 alone and integrating a marketing piece that Hilton adopted as an Embassy Suites Brand standard, no one on her team would be surprised if she next walked on water.

"Donna joined WHG's Embassy Suites Denver Southeast in June 2005 as a sales manager and within six months, we promoted her to director of sales," says WHG's Regional Vice President Herman Turk. "She joined our team just as we began an extensive $5 million renovation. Donna was instrumental in developing and implementing a unique renovation marketing plan to communicate the fabulous changes at the hotel, win back past customers and identify and secure new customers, all while raising rates and growing RevPAR."

Prior to working for Windsor, Donna had significant experience in sales and had most recently worked with Starwood Vacation Ownership in marketing and operations. She graduated from Oklahoma State University, having majored in marketing and management.

"I have been in Sales for most of my life," says Donna. "I started in retail in high school and have worked in various capacities since that time...I truly believe that the entire hotel staff is part of the sales team. We strive to train employees from all departments on the sales process."

"Windsor allows us to be entrepreneurial," she continues, "which has allowed us to really focus on what works for our location and market. It makes us take ownership in our property."

The property's general manager, Kim Corrigan, adds, "Donna has an outstanding ability to manage, develop teams and motivate the entire hotel staff. She creates a work environment that inspires employees and encourages them to succeed."

WHG Vice President of Sales Mark Goeman concludes, "Donna is an example to us all. She has earned this prestigious award with her hard work, dedication and willingness to try new approaches to her job each and everyday. The entire Windsor Team is extremely proud of her."
