Canon Adds Sepialine to the imagePROGRAF Alliance Partner Program at the IRgA Show

Business Wire,  May 14, 2008

Sepialine Becomes the Eighth Member of Canon's Alliance Partner Program for its Large Format Printers

LAS VEGAS -- Here at the International Reprographics Association (IRgA) Annual Convention, Canon U.S.A. today announced that Sepialine, a cost recovery software provider, has officially become a member of Canon's imagePROGRAF Alliance Partner Program.

The Canon Alliance Partner Program allows the software provider to conduct compatibility testing based on uniform Canon testing standards and procedures to ensure the reliability and benefits of a complete large format printing solution using the provider's software and Canon's imagePROGRAF large format printers, and submits the results for Canon's review and compatibility certification. As an imagePROGRAF Alliance Partner, Canon will promote compatibility with Sepialine through co-marketing and awareness generation initiatives targeting solution applications within five key markets - Photography, Prepress, CAD/GIS, Signage and Scan/Copy. Canon U.S.A. will also feature Sepialine on its corporate Web site (www.usa.canon.com) along with other channel marketing communications.

"Canon's Alliance Partner Program for the imagePROGRAF products was created to identify, develop and market software solutions that not only add value to Canon's products, but also address customer and industry-specific needs in the marketplace," said Jim Rosetta, vice president and general manager, Imaging Systems Group, Canon U.S.A. "Sepialine's entry into this Alliance Partner Program gives Canon and its dealers the opportunity to offer software solutions that are proven to enhance the capability of their imagePROGRAF printer and allow for more user control."

In addition to today's announcement, Canon U.S.A. and Sepialine recently announced the availability of Sepialine's print accounting software for the Canon imagePROGRAF large format printers, extending Sepialine's Argos Cost Recovery System capabilities to imagePROGRAF models to provide detailed print records that include total ink consumption. Also, Canon and Sepialine recently introduced Argos Embedded Copy Tracking for Canon MEAP devices, a pure software solution for tracking Canon MFPs.

"We are pleased and honored to join the Canon Large Format Alliance Program as the only cost recovery partner in the program," said Jeremy Evans, chief executive Officer, Sepialine. "Cost recovery has become such a critical need for the design and reprographic industries, and that's why Canon and Sepialine decided to partner to deliver the solutions our mutual customers are asking for."

Other members of the Canon imagePROGRAF Alliance Partner Program include:

* EFI

* Ergosoft

* Onyx

* PosterJet
