Leading Law Firm Makes Case for Qwest Data Networking Services
Business Wire, May 15, 2008
CHICAGO -- Qwest Communications International Inc. (NYSE: Q) today announced a multi-year agreement with Chicago-based Sonnenschein[R] Nath & Rosenthal LLP, a leading law firm with offices in 13 U.S. states and Europe.
Sonnenschein recently relocated one of its main data centers, and selected Qwest iQ Networking services to improve network traffic performance and provide redundant access to critical business traffic servers at its new facility. The Qwest high-speed platform solution enhances Sonnenschein's business continuity plans through improved access performance to vital systems, services and applications. The service will provide Sonnenschein the flexibility to support future growth as it adds new offices and expands into new markets.
"Our professionals serve many of the world's leading technology and financial services companies, where technology infrastructure is a key strategic differentiator. As such, it was critical for us to find a WAN provider like Qwest that can install circuits quickly, without error and without incident at one of our two redundant data centers," said Rebecca Barbalace, manager of data, voice and video communication.
"Qwest's delivery was outstanding; they got it right the first time, which made our role in the installation process that much easier and more efficient," said Jon Castle, lead infrastructure engineer.
"The ability to seamlessly deliver industry-leading solutions is attracting new customers and new business segments, and helping Qwest deepen existing customer relationships," said Tom Richards, executive vice president, Qwest Business Markets Group.
