Hercules Technology's Portfolio Company, Gomez, Inc., Announced Proposed $80.5 Million Initial Public Offering

PALO ALTO, Calif. -- Hercules Technology Growth Capital, Inc. (NASDAQ: HTGC), the premier specialty finance company providing venture debt and equity to venture capital and private equity backed technology and life science companies at all stages of development, today announced that its portfolio company, Gomez, Inc., has filed for an $80.5 million initial public offering (IPO). Upon completion of the IPO, Gomez would mark the fifth portfolio company exit event for Hercules so far this year.
On May 7, 2008, Gomez announced that it filed a registration statement with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission relating to a proposed IPO of shares of its common stock. Upon the effectiveness of the registration statement, the common stock is expected to trade on The NASDAQ Global Market under the symbol, "GOMZ."
