Arrow Electronics Receives Clearance from the European Union to Acquire LOGIX S.A

MELVILLE, N.Y. -- Arrow Electronics, Inc. (NYSE:ARW) announced it has received competition clearance from the European Competition Commission for its proposed acquisition of LOGIX S.A., a subsidiary of Group OPEN and a leading value-added distributor of midrange servers, storage, and software in Europe. Based upon this clearance, the company expects the transaction will close by the end of May.
