Nancy Sherrer Beaton Named NIC's Director of Communications and Investor Relations

OLATHE, Kan. -- eGovernment firm NIC (NASDAQ: EGOV) today announced that Nancy Sherrer Beaton has been named Director of Communications and Investor Relations. Ms. Beaton is responsible for expanding NIC's award-winning corporate communications and investor relations programs.
Ms. Beaton comes to NIC from Sprint Nextel, where she was most recently the director of national segment marketing and also held several consumer marketing, wireless data, and corporate communications leadership positions. Prior to joining Sprint Nextel, Ms. Beaton was a media and public relations executive at two Kansas City-based corporate communications agencies. She holds a B.A. from Kansas State University, an M.S. from the University of Kansas, and an M.B.A. from Webster University.
