Click Commerce Announces New License Agreement with Toll Group
Business Wire, May 2, 2008
CHICAGO -- Click Commerce, Inc., the leading provider of service network solutions, today announced that Toll Holdings, the Asian Region's leading provider of integrated logistics services, has signed a new license agreement to deploy Click Commerce's Warehouse Management System (WMS) solution at distribution centers throughout Southeast Asia. The first implementation will occur in Thailand or Singapore with further rollouts to follow across the region.
The Click Commerce solution enables Toll to manage its extended warehouse network both globally and locally, in real-time, including shipping, receiving and consolidation. By optimizing processes within and between warehouses, the software helps Toll achieve greater efficiency and productivity, improved inventory and shipping accuracy, and optimal space utilization.
"Toll has relied on Click Commerce software to support our logistics operations in Australia and New Zealand for more than five years. As we streamline software applications and automate warehouse processes, we are confident that using Click Commerce software is a great fit for our business," said Tom Thompson, group general manager at Toll. "The combination of Click Commerce's smart technology with our superior integrated logistics strategy enables us to achieve supply chain excellence for our customers and stand out in the marketplace. In our typical WMS implementations we expect to achieve significant quantitative improvements in operational and administrative productivity of at least 20%, as well as customer service improvements from higher fill-rates and order picking accuracy. Based on experience, the Click Commerce application provides the framework necessary to institutionalize improvements in both labor productivity and service quality."
"Today's complex supply chain environments require visibility and control within and beyond the four walls of a warehouse," said David Barboro, general manager of Click Commerce's Service Network Solutions division. "Our flexible warehouse solutions are ideal for managing fast-moving, extended service networks because they offer the visibility and control needed to optimize processes, respond quickly to customers and stay ahead of the competition. We are excited about our role in enabling Toll to deliver the highest possible service levels to its customers."
