The Number of Total Mobile Subscribers in Germany Will Increase From 101.5 Million to 105.4 Million During the Forecast Period of 2008 - 2010

- The number of total subscribers in Germany will increase from 101.5 million to 105.4 million during the forecast period of 2008 - 2010. The wireless penetration level will continue to increase. We are now forecasting a wireless penetration level of 128.6% (reflecting a large increase from our previous forecast of 113%) in 2010.

- We are forecasting market shares (by subscribers) of major operators to remain roughly the same over the next several years in Germany. T-Mobile, D2 (Vodafone), E-Plus and O2 will continue to have approximately their current market share levels.

- In 2010, we are predicting that O2 will generate the highest ARPU of $32.78 per month while T-Mobile will generate the lowest ARPU of $24.06 per month.

- We are now forecasting that the two largest operators, T-Mobile and D2 (Vodafone), will see some declines in EBITDA margins over the forecast period, averaging 38.3% and 41.3% in 2010.
