Superior Flexibility, Scalability and Customizable Components for an Evolving E-Business
REDWOOD CITY, Calif. -- BroadVision, Inc., (OTCBB:BVSN) a global provider of strategic e-business solutions, announced today that Phil@Poste, a division of La Poste, chose BroadVision[R] Commerce Agility Suite and e-Merchandising for its new Phil@Poste web site. BroadVision supports Phil@Poste in creating a new sales channel by implementing the Phil@Poste web site with BroadVision Global Services.
Phil@Poste is already live with their "Etats Generaux de la Philatelie" web site for the Communications department. The web site uses BroadVision Content Services[TM] publishing and was implemented by BroadVision Global Services.
Jo[R]lle Amalfitano, Communications Director at Phil@Poste: "Flexibility was key to us as we were looking for e-commerce applications that could be fully tailored to our needs. We were quick to recognize the great advantage of BroadVision's modular application functionality and easily added BroadVision Portal and Content Services to evolve our e-business."
The upcoming e-commerce project will be a remake of the current web site offering an online catalogue for several services. Through BroadVision's agility, the web site can be quickly adapted and re-configured to respond to the individual needs of Phil@Poste.
"BroadVision stands for agility. Our goal is to offer our clients maximum flexibility and innovative functionality which spans from our e-business solution suite to our e-commerce components. The K2 (Kona * Kukini)[TM] framework allows strategic e-businesses to create their individual package and evolve their business step by step," said Andrea Rubei, Vice President and General Manager of Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) at BroadVision. "We are happy that Phil@Poste chose BroadVision for its portal, content, and e-commerce needs."
