Clearswift Names New General Manager, Americas

REDWOOD CITY, Calif. -- Clearswift today announced the appointment of Michael H. Lisi as general manager, Americas. Lisi brings more than 25 years of experience in the security, messaging and compliance software industry, most recently serving as vice president of the Security Solutions Sales Specialists and the Mergers and Acquisitions Team at Symantec Incorporated.

During his time at Symantec, Lisi was selected to participate on the company's Global Security Management Committee team, which focused on specific strategic planning, roadmap communications, and acquisition integration. Lisi joined Symantec following its acquisition of Brightmail where he was serving as vice president of sales and was responsible for all enterprise and government sales, technical support and other customer-facing functions in the Americas.

Prior to joining Brightmail, Lisi served as the senior vice president of North American sales for Trend Micro where he was responsible for all sales and marketing, and technical support resources efforts. Earlier in his career, he served in a variety of sales positions for a number of leading corporations, including Compuware, IBM and Schlumberger, where he held multiple senior management roles in the United States and Asia.
