Teradyne, Inc. Marks 35 Years in Japan; Headquarters Relocates to Minato Mirai, Yokohama

YOKOHAMA, Japan -- Marking its 35th year in Japan, Teradyne, Inc. (NYSE: TER) announced that the Teradyne K.K. headquarters, which is its legal entity in Japan, has relocated to 3-6-3 Minato Mirai, Nishi-ku, Yokohama, as of April 30. The move combines sales and field support under one roof to better support the unit's growing business.

Teradyne opened its first office in Japan in 1973, and now has approximately 260 employees, with sales and support offices in Yokohama and Osaka, and design, engineering, manufacturing and product marketing in Kumamoto, Kyushu Island. Teradyne's Japan business unit manufactures the industry-leading IP750 image sensor test family, which tests image sensors found in digital cameras and recorders worldwide. The group also provides sales and support for Teradyne's FLEX(R) and J750 test system platforms for Japan's leading electronics companies.
