Annual User Conference to Provide In-Depth Sessions on MapInfo Professional; Company President to Deliver Key Note Speech on Future Corporate and Product Plans
LAS VEGAS -- Pitney Bowes MapInfo, the leading global provider of location intelligence solutions, announced that it will host MapWorld 2008, its 15th annual global user conference, on May 21-23 in Las Vegas. Pitney Bowes MapInfo will highlight the future of location intelligence and provide in-depth sessions on its products. MapWorld brings together executives, customers and industry experts from around the world for three days of highly informative events, including valuable networking opportunities, customer presentations and hands-on training sessions featuring MapInfo([R]) location intelligence solutions.
MapWorld attendees will receive a preview of MapInfo Professional([R]) v9.5, the latest version of the company's flagship application for business mapping and analysis. Several sessions will focus on MapInfo Professional v9.5, including "Seven Ways to Grow with MapInfo Professional" and "The Future of MapInfo Professional." MapWorld will also feature a focus group and feedback session on MapInfo Professional.
Pitney Bowes MapInfo customers will also learn more about the company's direction and positioning. Michael Hickey, president, Pitney Bowes Software, will give a keynote on the strategic direction and vision of the company. Doug Gordon, managing director of strategy and industry management, will also present "The Best of Both Worlds for Customers and Partners" - a detailed overview of the product roadmap and its future direction.
