Customer Innovation Recognized at Annual Pitney Bowes Software Conference
LAS VEGAS -- Pitney Bowes Group 1 Software today announced the customer innovation winners at its annual customer conference being held this week in Las Vegas. The awards program recognizes customers who are creatively driving business innovation with new, dynamic uses of Pitney Bowes Group 1 Software solutions. Companies from all over the world submitted entries. The winners in three categories are:
* Organizational Impact -- ShenZhen Telco
Prior to working with Pitney Bowes Group 1 Software, Shenzhen Telecom, a branch of China Telecom Corporation Limited, relied on a complex, time consuming system of issuing paper bills, which were difficult for customers to understand and prompted numerous calls to the customer service department. ShenZhen Telecom implemented Group 1[R]Software e-billing solution to develop customized bills for customers, resulting in cost savings and improved quality of service.
Runner Up -- Distribution Services
* Technical Achievement -- KnowledgeBase Marketing
KnowledgeBase Marketing (KBM), a direct marketing firm, worked with Pitney Bowes Group 1 Software to migrate to an open system service-oriented architecture (SOA) environment to help process data faster and more cost effectively. KBM can now process customer data records more rapidly, accurately and efficiently while reducing costs and continuing excellent customer relationship management.
Runner Up -- Ceridian
* Unique & Unusual -- Spokane Teachers Credit Union
The Spokane Teachers Credit Union (STCU) implemented Group 1 Software's DataFlow[TM] solution to catalog more detailed, current and relevant information on customers' records. Staff members can now have much more personalized interactions with customers, helping the STCU differentiate itself in a competitive market and create lasting customer bonds. Since June of 2007, STCU reports an increase in staff referrals by more than 280 percent as a result of improved customer relationship management tools.
"We are thrilled to honor this year's award winners and recognize the innovative and distinct ways they are using Pitney Bowes Group 1 Software solutions. Many thanks to all of this year's participants," said Mike Hickey, president, Pitney Bowes Software.
