Valley Presbyterian Hospital Appoints New Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer

VAN NUYS, Calif. -- Valley Presbyterian Hospital (VPH) today announced the appointment of Wesley R. Schmidt as Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer, effective June 9.
Schmidt brings more than 10 years of healthcare and human resources experience to Valley Presbyterian Hospital. Currently, Schmidt serves as Director of Human Resources at Simi Valley Hospital - a 153-bed hospital that is part of Adventist Health, a not-for-profit, faith-based health system operating in California, Hawaii, Oregon and Washington. Schmidt also held the position of Manager of Human Resources at Florida Hospital Heartland Division in Florida.
